I am so excited! Yesterday I purchased Grace & Style - The art of pretending you have it at NK. So this is how I'm spending my day- lying in bed with a cup of tea a sketch book, and podcast along with my new coffee table book by my icon Grace Helbig. The best way to spend any lazy day!
You may have noticed that I've been mentioning my friend Eve a lot in recent posts and that is because she came to stay with us for two weeks here in Stockholm, Sweden. A few days ago her trip ended and she flew back to Adelaide, Australia and although this is sad, we had so much fun these past two weeks that it could last anyone a lifetime. And after creating my Finland 2016 Vlog, I was so inspired to do this again so I've just finished editing it and I thought I'd share it here first!
Now, just to be clear, this is a collection of about 14 days worth of footage so not all of it is included, just the highlights or the parts that showed how beautiful my hometown is. We wandered around Djurgården, drank coffee at countless cafes, visited the Stockholm archipelago, walked along long shopping streets and saw all the sights that Stockholm has to offer- (along with a day trip in Uppsala). Hope you enjoyed!
Hello lovely people of the internet!
I'm baaack! You probably didn't notice since I've had scheduled posts going up, but if you read a recent blog post you would be aware that I've been in the Finnish countryside and got back on Thursday. Last year, I compiled several clips from my trip into a video/vlog type of thing where I showed the highlights from my trip. This year, I thought I'd do the same so throughout the whole trip I shot little clips of what I was doing, where I was going and what I was eating as well as my surroundings.
This video really just shows the details of my trip but also gives a vague idea of what I spent my time doing since the majority of the time, I had my nose buried in a book with loud music in my headphones haha! The video spans from us queuing for Viking Line to the car ride home to Stockholm. I hope that you still found it enjoyable since I had fun putting it all together!
Yesterday I was at the gorgeous Rosendals Trädgård here in Stockholm with my lovely friend. We walked around djurgården before wandering around the gardens and grabbing a coffee and some cake at the local cafe. If you've never been to Rosendal (which you definitely should by the way), you sit and eat on these cute park benches under apple trees on this grass plane that is unbelievably cosy and relaxing. I highly recommend their mud cake and ginger snaps- they were delicious!
This lil' star came over today and we ate cake, drank tea and cuddled with little kitten Misha (whom you can see HERE)! We had some fun playing around with snapchat before snapping some very cute selfies as seen above which were so tumblr that I had to post them for y'all!
Snapshots from yesterday when I was out with my friend Ida (find her blog HERE). Above you can see our delicious lunch where I ordered a "pesto rosso" and apple cider and Ida ordered a risotto- yum! Afterwards, we wandered around the old city (as mentioned in my last post) and popped into an old fashioned sweet shop where we each bought a candy cane before heading home. It was a great time, especially since we just missed the heavy rain ahah!

(sorry to any English readers- this will be for my Swedish followers) Vintern är över och sommaren är runt hörnet. Hurra!
Mmmmm! Avocado and mozzarella toast with a nice cup of caramel tea for breakfast. Pair this with reading How to be Parisian (Most amazing book btw) and you have yourself a great morning.
Coffee adventure between classes to Mogen & Grus with some friends for a latte before continuing to study! xx
Feeling like such an art student so I had to do a dorky pose in front of the constructivist art pieces...
The pretty view from the museum- woah I love my city!
Before heading to the museum though, B and I headed out for coffee!

Can you tell my favourite colour? Görvälns slott knows what's up ahahah!
My morning coffee (yes Starbucks just takes like milk but it was still pretty good), me post morning coffee (still not really smiling but with less hatred for the world), my juice yesterday and some cute cacti!
I've been absent over the weekend as I was celebrating my birthday! On Friday we went to this adorable cafe called Vetekatten and celebrated with some cake and coffees! It was so lovely to be surrounded by my family on my actual birthday for the first time in eight years. I felt very loved and special by these lovely and special people!
Earrings - Lovisa, Choker - H&M, Necklace - Efva Attling, Sweater - Brandy Mellville
Sidenote: it was between 1 - 2C today! Very happy for some warmer weather in January- can't wait till summer...
For my birthday I got a new phone, it's the iPhone 6S in gold and I'm obsessed! Since my phone is (sadly) my life, I thought I'd share what's on my iPhone! My case (as previously mentioned) is from Sportsgirl and I've gotten so many compliments on it.
My four most used apps Messaging, Instagram, the Podcast app and Music!
If I'm going to be completely honest, my apps aren't too interesting but in order: Telephone, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, Calender, Photos, Camera, Settings, Res i Sthlm (a travelling/transport app for Stockholm), Safari, Mail, Notes, Reminders, Contacts, Clock, App Store and iTunes. Now- my folders.
This folder is full of my extra social medias/internet required apps. I have Skype, Viber, Kik (which I hardly ever use), Messenger and Episode.I haven't really played it much but maybe one rainy day! Also, since taking these photos, I have downloaded Neko Atsume, it is an adorable app about collecting cats so I am preparing for my cat-lady future!
This app is for all my Instagram photos! I've been using Faded for years and although it costs a little- it's worth it. I also have VSCO and Boomerang.
I use this folder quite a lot, it is the Comviq app to check my balance, Istudiez Pro for my class schedule and I definitely recommend it if you're in school! I also have the Clue app which is perfect for keeping track of your period and finally I have Rain, Rain which is a free app with nature sounds.
Here I have Maps and Weather.
Here I have the Calculator app and an app called Currency which is really useful when travelling!
And my last two folders on my second page is just full of the usual Apple apps so pretty boring ahah! I'm not sure if Find My iPhone is a compulsory app but anyway...
And in case you were wondering, this is my wallpaper. It is a photo from earlier this year when I was at a patisserie- the photo is also on my Instagram!
I have been struggling recently to post. It's not that I don't want to or don't have photos but I am on vacation and I feel as though I need to take a break from blogging so that I can come back in the new year with fresh ideas and lots of things to share with my lovely readers!
I'll be back on January the 1st, 2016 but will be posting less often than I have previously, since I have long struggled to reach the level of quality that I expect on my blog and it has been a big source of stress in my life. During this time I'll be logging off and using nothing but my camera to restock on pictures. I'll be back in full on the 10th of January so look out for that!
Happy new year to you all and I guess I'll see you soon but now I need to go, turn my brain off and do absolutely nothing!
We are in the home stretch of the year and (at least for me) it's less than three weeks till' the Holidays! However, this period is usually the most stressful so I thought I'd share some mid-week tips so that it's easier to study. And I genuinely do all of these and as a very stressed person; I find them all really helpful so I hope you get some inspiration!
Have a great last few weeks in school and please please take care of yourselves, (sorry.. christmas pun.... I'll leave now...)
Hello lovely readers!
Woah this has been a couple of interesting days... Two weeks ago I had a mental breakdown due to stress and overworking myself and had to stay home form school for a few days and when I thought I was better I came back and managed to get through a week of school but the problem with that is that I continued in the same patterns that I did a week earlier and this resulted in yet another breakdown and I have been home both yesterday and today. I am disappointed that I wasn't able to handle my stress but at some point you reach your limit and I've reached mine. Twice. In the past month...
I am recovering and trying to separate myself from my school work as I know that those assignments isn't going to define my future but it's har to remember that! Anyone else going through highschool knows that fact and no matter how many times an adult says it it is hard to take to heart since the school feeds you all this ”important” information that, if you don't do/know, will ”ruin” your future.
But anyways... I am trying to relax but it is really hard... and really boring as I watch my friends' snapchats from school ahah! I hope you are all feeling well and remembering to take care of yourself- TREAT YO SELF!!
Oh and by the way... Have you noticed my new header? It's Christmas theeemeeed! With a lil' Santa! I am so ready for the holiday season that I feel as though I'm going to explode into little pieces of festive glitter n' sparkles!!

(This is a quick post for you swedes out there). Some of you may know that my cousin Beata and I started a podcast back in August called ”Tonårs Tankar” where we talk about our experiences and thoughts on pop culture and society! You can find us on Youtube, Soundcloud and iTunes if you search Tonårs Tankar but just beware that if you search us on iTunes there are two items that pop up and you should choose the one by ”Sofia & Beata” because the other one is our Podomatic that we have stopped updating!

By the way: we have an autumn themed episode coming on Wednesday so be prepared for episode #4 soon! And yes I know that Halloween has just been but it is still going to be very ”Autumny” weather and fashion so we have some time before the exciting season of Christmas is upon us (aka as soon as Beata's birthday is over ahah)!
Hello dear dear readers!
As I'm writing this I am on the tube, heading home. I was getting a really bad headache so I left school a little early but on my way home I stopped by Götgatan and purchased some amazing LUSH bath products as well as a cappuccino and pecan square from Starbucks. I don't know if it's the caffeine buzz or the autumn air but I am so incredibly happy right now and can't wait for the weather to get colder, the drinks to get hotter and festive season to grow bigger.
Tomorrow my school is doing a Halloween costume day as it is the last day of school before Autumn break. All of the corridors (well.. the whole school) are decorated with pumpkins, spider webs, and orange and black balloons. They have also put black covers over the windows so that it is dark and a little creepy when you're waiting for your social science class to start.
It's going to be so great to have a week home so that I can finish my assignments, watch Gilmore Girls (great Autumn show btw), make cinnamon buns and drink lots of coffee!
