Breakfast at Vetekatten

Today I had breakfast at Vetekatten in Norrmalm with mum. This consisted of a latte (followed by a few more cups of coffee), a piece of cheesecake and a few bites of a blueberry danish and a croissant like sandwich. Yes, it was all very delicious and no, we didn't finish it all ahaha. This was the first trip to the Vetekatten cafe when we were able to sit outside without freezing. Not to mention that it was actually very pleasant to sit outside in the sun and creepily try to detect what accent the tourists next to us had (turned out to be Australian) ahahah.

Odette Cafe in Paris

Odette: The most adorable cafe in Paris- it is situated right next to Notre Dame with seating both outside and a second story option that is very cosy. If you are in Paris, I definitely definitely think that you should visit Odette at 77 Rue Galande, 75005 Paris. It is perfect for a quiet spot to sit and relax since it is on a side street, away from the busy streets of Paris. Not to mention that the cafe is the perfect place to go for an Instagram photo or two!

Kaffeverket with Ida

On sunday I went to Kaffeverket in Kungsholmen with my lovely friend Ida and we had a lovely time; chatting over a smoothie n' lemonade. This cafe is currently in my top three favourite cafes in Stockholm which is giving me the idea that I should do a masterpost or series about my favourite cafes here in Stockholm for any residents or visitors or just plain coffee addicts like myself... hmmm I'll keep you posted (wow I didn't mean to make that horrible pun)...

Waldermarsudde Exhibition

On sunday, my mother, godmother and I went to Prins Eugene's Waldermarsudde here in Stockholm to see an art exhibition about impressionism- more specifically lesser known Swedish female artists from the late 17th to early 18th century. The whole exhibition was gorgeous, both in installation and depictions so if you're in Stockholm I highly recommend you see the exhibition especially since it's free if you're under 18. Afterwards we went to the gallery's cafe and it was veery aesthetically pleasing with white walls, lots of plants and gorgeous cakes. The address is Prins Eugens Väg 6, 115 21 Stockholm!

Terrassen Cafe

The lovely Terrassen cafe in Skrapan  on Södermalm. The location is so lovely and has such gorgeous decor with cute plants, nice chairs and lovely food! My friends and I went here between classes to get out of the stressful end-of-year environment and relax with a nice drink. If you're ever in the are check it out.

Parisian Coffee Shop

We went up to Sacre Coeur in Paris and on the walk back to the tube, we found this hole in the wall pastry shop/cafe called Pain Pain (which means Bread Bread for anyone who is confused). Everything looked and smelled amazing so it was the perfect pick me up after a long walk!

Laduree - Through My Phone

So I've started with a new series on my blog since I have so many photos from Paris on my phone. Yes I know I've already shared a lot of photos but I can't help it- Paris was a dream city and I really want to go back already. I have already posted some photos from my camera from our first time at an actual Laduree shop but I had some extras on my phone since it felt a little weird wipping out my giant camera every time I wanted to take a photo of a macaron.. Another thing that made me really excited was that the Sex and the City final episode included a scene from this very Laduree shop (on the left side of the building in the photo above) and I am such a little weird fan girl that I had to take a photo...

Fabrique n' Cafe Pascal Shots

Just wanted to share some recent photos from both Fabrique where I often get coffee as well as Cafe Pascal which you all know is my absolute favourite place! Love, Sofia xx

Amazing Pastries

For mum's birthday and my name's day, we went to Gateau and bought so many delicious looking treats. We then celebrated with these cakes, tarts and pastries with coffee, tea and raspberries- yum!

Final Breakfast at Laduree

Our last breakfast at Laduree before heading back to Stockholm. Toast and a gorgeous and absolutely Ispahan as well as (of course) coffee! All in all we visited Laduree in Paris about four or five times in only four days... Yes mum and I are obsessed ahahah! xx

Best Coffee - Sebastien Gaudard

The amazing coffee and pastry at the absolutely fantastic Sebastien Gaudard in Paris. The location was gorgeous with cute blue chairs for outside service, pretty tiled floors and a fully stocked pastry display mmmm... It was one of my favourite coffee shops in the whole of my whole trip- gorgeous pastries and the BEST coffee I had had in a long time! If you are ever in Paris, you have to go here; if just for the coffee.

STHLM Brunch Club

Today I had a great day in the 22 degree weather with Tora (here). We went nice and early to Sthlm Brunch Club in Vasastan and had a great brunch! Tora chose a delicious looking acai bowl and I had avocado toast with a green juice that strangely enough tasted like a banana milkshake. It was quite expensive for the amount of food, but you also pay for the atmosphere and location of the place.

Macarons From Paris

The very last thing that mum and I did before we left for the airport was to buy macarons. We went to Laduree's Madeleine location and picked out a few: cherry blossom, salted caramel, rose petal, licorice, pistachio and Marie Antoinette tea mmmm! Let me just say that these were so delicious and I only have one left! If you were curious to try a famous Laduree macaron, we have a location here in Stockholm so you don't have to fly to Paris ahaha.

Famous Cafe Angelina

The famous Angelina cafe in Paris where the pastries are delicious and the lattes are served in a jug (which is such a good idea). And yes this was my breakfast.. For the whole four days we were there, breakfast consisted of croissants, macarons and coffee- so stereotypically French that I feel very touristy ahahah!

Breakfast at Laduree

Amazing breakfast at Laduree in Madeleine, Paris France. If you ever have the option to eat breakfast there, I highly recommend the Petit Dejeuner Laduree. It is a combination of three croissants, a bread bun, jam, the cutest tube of butter, orange or grapefruit juice and tea or coffee. Yes I know it sounds amazing!

Coffee at Laduree

Oh my god Laduree lives up to its reputation. I absolutely loved their food, coffee and interior aesthetic! We ordered a Ispahan (a large macaron with raspberries) as well as a large salted caramel macaron and coffees.

Studying at Cafe Pascal

I've found the best way to study effectively is to bring my laptop to a cafe somewhere in the city away from my house where theres wifi. Then order a coffee or somethin' to eat and stay at the cafe till I'm done with my work- away from distractions. xx

Kaffeverket with Tora

Today I met Tora (find her blog here) at Kaffeverket which is at Sankt Eriksplan 88 here in Stockholm. We had such a nice time and wandered around a little after our coffee outing. Kaffeverket has such a nice enviroment with lovely decor (I'll have another post coming with some photos of the coffee shop), not to mention that the sweets and coffee was great! I chose a little caramel-type biscuit which was strangely strong in taste and Tora had a cinnamon bun. I've already written a post about Josefin and Vanja's "Find a new friend" posts (find them here and here) but it is such a great idea and I've met several lovely girls due to their posts n' one of these is Tora! I highly recommend you check out her blog because her photos are so lovely!

Coffee at Petite France

Today I had coffee with my friend Ida at Petite France in Kungsholmen! Its a hidden gem just off Norr Mälarstrand where the customers speak French and the pastries are adorable (as you can see above). The coffee is served in big cups and is very strong which is perfect to compliment the sweet and very chocolately eclair I had. The adress is John Ericssonsgatan 6 here in Stockholm!
